摘 要 湖南省汝城县地处湘、粤、赣三省交界的群山之中。由于地理环境特殊，千余年来吸引了许多中原世族来此定居，他们所带来的不同地域文化和建筑艺术，历经千年融汇成当地特有的民间建筑风格。这些极具地方特色的建筑艺术风格集中体现在村落的祠堂建筑上。当地祠堂建筑形成了特有的较为稳定统一的平面布局形式和建筑结构模式，在局部造型和雕刻彩绘上体现了一系列地方特点和变化。汝城祠堂建筑群较完整地保留了当地传统建筑的原真特色和时代特征，是非常珍贵的建筑历史文化遗产。

ABSTRACT Rucheng County, Hunan Province, is situated in the mountainous region bordering Hunan, Guangdong and Jiangxi. For over a millennium, its special geographic environment has attracted numerous tribes and clans from the midland to settle down here, bringing different regional and architectural cultures with them, which have been consolidated as a civilian architectural style of its own. Such a unique local architectural style is best represented in the village ancestral temples. These temples are of a distinctive, and relatively stable and uniform, pattern of layout and structure, including a series of specific features, sculptures and paintings with local characteristics and variations. Due to the inconvenience of transportation in the past and the slow economic development, such representative civilian buildings have been preserved perfectly, and undoubtedly should be regarded as a precious cultural legacy in architecture today.
